Why did Italy use mustard gas in the Italo-Ethiopian War?

Two months after Italy invaded Ethiopia, war efforts came to standstill. Repulsed by the Ethiopian army, the Italians found it impossible to pass deeper into Ethiopia. As a result, they started using poison gas.

What goods does Ethiopia export?

The four biggest Ethiopian exports are coffee, gold, flower and khat. Ethiopia was the ninth-largest coffee exporter in 2021, with $1.16 billion in exports. In the same year, coffee ranked as Ethiopia's top export. Germany is the world's leading importer of Ethiopian coffee, followed by the United States, Saudi Arabia, Japan, and South Korea, respectively.
